I *heart* ruffles

I love anything romantic and feminine- rosettes, bows and of course, ruffles. I've had my eye on this bag for almost a year now. I think I should buy it as a birthday present from me to me (since you know, I'm going to be a year older next Wednesday).

The only problem is deciding which one to try first.

This hen house (called a Cocorico) was designed by Maxime Evrard and it not only looks cool, but it's environmentally friendly. My hens will be living in stylish sustainability.

What to wear...to a backyard bbq

Summer means lots of casual backyard gatherings and cookouts. My goal- look cute, stay comfortable with worn-in denim shorts, a breezy top and simple jewelry like handmade resin bangles and dangly, nature-inspired earrings. And of course, cute flat sandals and sunglasses are a must.

D and I recently spent a weekend in Baltimore's Harbor East. In addition to browsing the boutiques, we hit up Bin 604, a wine store with a fabulous selection of both domestic and international wines. Definitely worth the trip.
